The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering aims to produce skillful and competent engineers to reach great heights. It was started in year 2009 with 60 intake. The Department has 4 Laboratory. There are 6 faculty members in the department, 1 Assistant Professor as regular faculty and 5 staff members as Teaching Fellows, 9 professional assistant and 1 lab instructor. The curriculum is designed to cover all major aspects of Electrical and Electronics Engineering while allowing considerable in depth study in specific areas chosen by each student. We are proud that a majority of the department's graduates are employed in leading electronic, communication, computer, power, oil & petrochemical and consulting industries. There are curricular add-ons in the program to support employment opportunities in any of the above areas. Students receive exposure to other areas of electrical engineering through a choice of electives. The department has a blend of eminent teaching faculty with majority having postgraduate qualifications and good industrial exposure. Individual care and attention is imparted to the students from their first year labs onward, where all the necessary equipments and tools are familiarized in a detailed manner. This ensures individual involvement so as to experience the excitement of doing the practical by oneself. Regular seminars and industry interaction programmes organized by the department helps the students to have a better idea regarding the modern technological trends and developments.
